I’m Carmen Quatman, MD, PhD—a surgeon-scientist, leadership strategist, and performance coach committed to helping high-impact professionals lead with clarity, confidence, and purpose. Through CEQ Coaching & Consulting, I bring a strategic, human-centered approach that supports individuals and organizations as they navigate complexity and pursue meaningful transformation. My coaching blends systems thinking, behavioral science, and real-world leadership experience to illuminate strengths, unlock potential, and help clients unleash the inner hero in their leadership journey.
Trained through Drexel University’s Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine, OSU’s Faculty Leadership Institute, and Indiana University’s Healthcare Innovation program, I support academic faculty and healthcare professionals across all career stages navigating transitions, academic identity, and leadership impact. With NIH, PCORI, and other foundation funding, my research expertise spans many topics including health services research, basic science, implementation science, and biomedical innovation and I bring a systems-thinking lens to coaching. She completed training at the Professional Coaching Certification (PCC) level in Executive Leadership, Organizational Development, and Life Coaching from the International Coaching Federation Accredited Symbiosis Coaching program
